The mind of a teacher, the heart of a pastor, and the passion of a missionary.
It is my privilege to introduce Mr. Abhishek Dasari — a teacher who became a Bible teacher.
Mr. Abhishek holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and was a university topper. He spent eight years in engineering education, including four years as Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In 2012, he left the classroom of Computer Science for the classroom of Scripture, stepping into full-time Christian ministry.
Since then, he has served in pastoral ministry, theological education, discipleship, preaching, and leadership development, most notably as pastor of Zion Fellowship in Hyderabad. He currently serves as faculty in Systematic Theology at Timothy Expository Academy (TEA) and mentors preachers through The Sermon Lab, equipping a new generation of expository preachers in the Telugu-speaking context.
His ministry also extends beyond the local church and classroom into mission among the unreached in North India, where he is involved in equipping lay pastors and emerging leaders to serve Christ and strengthen His Church.
At the heart of all his ministry is one conviction: to help people understand the Bible accurately, interpret it faithfully, and proclaim it clearly. He carries a particular burden for young people, university students, pastors, and emerging Christian leaders, seeking to see them rooted deeply in Scripture and equipped for faithful service.
He is married to Mrs. Kala Evangeline, who is herself actively involved in Christian ministry, and they are blessed with two sons, John Abhishek and Charles Abhishek.
Mr. Abhishek brings the mind of a teacher, the heart of a pastor, and the passion of a missionary. His journey is a testimony of teaching minds, shepherding lives, equipping leaders, and carrying the Gospel beyond the familiar to the unreached.
